The excitement of bodysurfing crests on Saturday, August 19^th, and Sunday, August 20^th, at the 41^st annual World Bodysurfing Championships. Held in Oceanside, adjacent to the pier, the event is expected to draw 400 bodysurfers from around the globe to compete for the title in their respective age divisions.

The contest is slated to begin at 6:30am each morning, with the Men and Women’s Grand Champions crowned Sunday afternoon. Nothing beats a day at the beach, and with world-class bodysurfers hitting the waves, prime entertainment is a guarantee. For those interested in entering, the cost is $75.
