Windermere Real Estate Southern California was a Presenting Sponsor of the marquis event for Modernism Week in Palm Springs, Party Like It’s 1961, held at the Palm Springs Art Museum Architecture and Design Center and put on by the Center’s Council as an annual fundraiser. This vintage-themed party included a fashion show by Bill Miller’s Déjà Vu Vintage Finery and Matt Burkholtz’s Route 66 West, the fine flavors of 1961 served by Lulu, a live performance from Gand Band, and other fun to transport the party back in time to Palm Springs’ golden era. Windermere sponsored the event to call attention to its A+D properties program, which celebrates the rich heritage of Modern and Contemporary residential architecture in the Coachella Valley by offering a listing platform conducive to properly representing the epic history of these homes.
