Windermere Real Estate Southern California has announced its team for the inaugural Gregg D. Spierling Memorial Golf Tournament, presented by the California Desert Association of Realtors® (CDAR). Diane Pennington, Robin Harmon, Justin Fields, and Dean Wartelle will represent Windermere in the tournament, taking place at Desert Falls Country Club on Monday, May 4th. The 3 teams with the lowest gross and lowest net scores will receive trophies, and prizes will be awarded for longest drive, straightest drive, and closest to the pin, with additional hole-in-one prizes offered. There is also a putting contest prior to the 12pm shotgun start. In addition to golf, a dinner including silent auction and raffle are planned to help raise money. All proceeds benefit the CDAR scholarship fund and First Tee of the Coachella Valley.
“We are proud to field a competitive team in this tournament and help support the two worthy causes benefitting from the proceeds,” says Bob Deville, Co-Owner of Windermere Real Estate Southern California. “The CDAR Scholarship Fund has been awarding scholarships to high school seniors for close to two decades and we are happy to know that we are doing our part to keep that tradition alive. First Tee’s programs are instrumental in developing character and ethics in youth through the game of golf. What they do to shape our future leaders is tremendous, and we take pride knowing that First Tee’s programs will benefit from this event.”
