Go Team Windermere

Windermere Real Estate Southern California is a proud sponsor of CDAR’s Dollars for Diplomas Golf Tournament is taking place today, May 12th, at the Palm Valley Country Club, 39205 Palm Valley Dr. in Palm Desert. Windermere’s foursome, represented by Diane Williams, Greg Cosgrove, Jennie Robinson, and Bert Walker, is excited to compete, and proud to represent Windermere at the 10th hole, where players will be treated to an oasis theme of flavored ice water, a masseuse for aching muscles, and relief under misters from the desert heat. “We’ve got to keep our players safe and hydrated on the course,” said Bob Deville, co-owner of Windermere Real Estate Southern California.

Both Greg Cosgrove and Bert Walker are veteran golfers who know the desert courses from years of experience and practice. Greg Cosgrove has been a resident in the Coachella Valley for more than 25 years, and within that time has specialized in many upscale desert communities including the Vintage Club, The Reserve, and Stone Eagle to name a few. Before associating with Windermere, he served as the Vice President of sales and marketing with Tradition Club Associates in La Quinta. As a real estate agent, Greg’s extensive knowledge of the golf club communities combined with his outgoing personality makes him a preferred real estate agent among his many clients. Greg’s experience as a local resident in Palm Desert and his natural athleticism as a golfer make him a natural selection to round out the great group of golfers representing Windermere this year.

Bert attended the University of Texas at Austin, played college football and graduated with a degree in marketing. After graduating, Bert spent his next fifteen years as a manufacturer’s representative in the aerospace industry. Eventually Bert’s career path led him to real estate where he worked with a civil engineering firm specializing in golf course master planned communities throughout Southern California and Texas. Bert has been a resident in the Coachella Valley since 2002 and has expert knowledge of the local golf courses.

“The Dollars for Diplomas Charity is a very worthy cause, and Windermere is pleased to participate and to be a Platinum level sponsor again this year. Proceeds from this charity are awarded by a select committee to the desert’s top achievers in high schools throughout the Valley who might not otherwise be able to afford a quality education,” said Charlie White, Managing Broker at Windermere Real Estate Indian Wells.

Each of Windermere’s “Dream Team,” Diane Williams, Jennie Robinson, Greg Cosgrove, and Bert Walker, are Windermere agents working together who strive to make their communities better places to work and live. Windermere is an ardent supporter and sponsor of this tournament because “giving back to communities is just what we do,” said Bob Deville.
