Windermere Real Estate’s Diana Weiss, Managing Broker for its Rancho Mirage office at 71-691 Highway 111, is on a mission to help fight hunger in our local Coachella Valley communities.

One of the ways she is doing so is by working with the Coachella Valley FIND (Food In Need of Distribution) Food Bank.  Weiss participated in FIND’s second Annual Walk Against Hunger on Saturday, January 29.  Like many others helping to fight hunger in real and positive ways, she is backing up her words with action.  “This is a cause I am passionate about. I’ll be contributing both financially and by taking part in the Walk,” says Weiss. “For each dollar we raise, FIND Food Bank can distribute 7 meals. By having friends, co-workers and family sponsor your participation in the Walk, we can really help make a difference for those here in the desert whose primary concern is simply getting enough food to eat.”

The Walk was scheduled to begin on Saturday, January 29, at 9:00 am at the Indio Municipal Golf Course at 42nd Street and Jackson. Proceeds from the Walk benefit a number of local agencies, including Martha’s Village and Kitchen; Coachella Valley Rescue Mission; The Well in the Desert, The Salvation Army, Shelter from the Storm, and the Boys and Girls Clubs.
