Windermere Real Estate Southern California was well represented at the 6^th Annual Men of the Desert Fashion Show and Charity Luncheon at the Ritz-Carlton in Rancho Mirage, put on by Animal Samaritans. Windermere Managing Broker Sandy Beakey, a Member of the 2015 Animal Samaritans Board of Directors, sponsored a table and Windermere Associate Broker Robert Downing was one of 16 models to strut their stuff down the runway. The proceeds of the luncheon, which included the fashion show and a silent auction, went to the non-profit organization to help maintain its programs.

“This event was very fun and raised a great deal of money for a worthy cause,” Sandy says. “It is an honor to be a part of Animal Samaritans. They are diligent in helping all animals and making sure that everyone has access to affordable vet care for our beloved, furry family members.” Animal Samaritans is the Coachella Valley’s largest animal welfare organization, dedicated to saving the lives of healthy and treatable animals by offering low-cost veterinarian services and lifelong home matching for adoptable animals.
