Windermere Agents Wrap Up Winter With A Lot Of Heart

While Southern California enjoyed a mild winter, Windermere Real Estate agents kept the home fires even warmer with their community support and involvement. From local fundraisers in the Palm Springs and San Diego/Oceanside areas to stylish functions in New York City, here’s a few snapshots of what the Windermere Real Estate Agents have been doing to wrap up a warm Winter.

Agents from Windermere’s Palm Springs Main, Midtown and South offices led the charge again this year at the Palm Springs Association of Realtor’s Valentine’s Day Fundraiser for the local charities that the Association supports.

Over $5,000 were raised at this year’s fundraiser, thanks in no small part to Windermere’s Nancy Steinfeldt who received the award for Most Creative Basket. Also, Windermere’s Jim Webb, PSRAR Board Member and Roy Rigsby were the recipients of the Biggest Heart Award for their repeated contributions for the Board’s fundraising events, past and current.

O’Brien Sisters Recognized at Women of Strength Awards in NYC

Windermere’s Kathleen O’Brien and sisters, Angel and Brenda, were honored at the Get In Touch Foundation’s Annual Women of Strength Awards in New York City. The O’Brien Sisters story as breast cancer survivors continues to inspire girls and women across the nation. They have courageously shared their story and willingly given of their time and resources to promote and support breast cancer awareness.

The Get In Touch Foundation is a a global breast health non-profit organization based in Connecticut. Their free Get In Touch Girls’ Program & Daisy Wheels educates girls in grades 5-12 on the importance of and how to do a breast self-exam – for life, and is being implemented in schools in all 50 states and 26 countries since our launch in September 2009. The free Daisy Wheel app has been downloaded in 80 countries since launching in June 2011. Get In Touch saves lives by providing important educational breast health information- for free – to girls all over the world.
