Windermere Real Estate Southern California recently held several training sessions for its agents to review changes to the Residential Purchasing Agreement (RPA). The form, issued by the California Association of Realtors (CAR), has been updated to clarify the purchase agreement for buyers and sellers and includes the most extensive set of revisions in over 13 years.

“Our goal is to have everyone trained and prepared to use the new contract prior to the late November release date,” said Charlie White, managing broker for the Indian Wells offices. So far, over 500 Windermere agents from across Southern California have attended training sessions in Palm Desert and Carlsbad, which were presented by Howard Fallman of CAR Legal and Robert Sunderland, Legal Counsel Windermere Southern California. Additional training sessions are planned in the coming weeks.
