Live Sports, Live Music Highlight The American Express PGA Tour Event

The American Express PGA Tour Event, formerly known as the Desert Classic, Career Builder Challenge, and Bob Hope Classic, returns for another year of exciting PGA Tour golf. This is the first year American Express has held sponsor and naming right.

The tournament brings some of the top names in golf, along with the sport’s rising stars, to hit the links on one of the first tournaments of the young season. Hosted at scenic PGA West in La Quinta January 15^th through 19^th, the American Express PGA Tour Event is a wonderful experience for all ages and showcases the unique qualities the Southern California desert landscape offers golfers, both pro and amateur.

In addition to the stars showcasing their skills on the course, there will be big stars entertaining the masses after tournament play ends. Rock legend and Rock N’ Roll Hall of Famer Stevie Nicks will perform Friday night while country crooner Luke Bryan takes to the stage at PGA West Saturday night.
