Beyond the battle on the beach for king of the castle, the 2018 Imperial Beach Sun & Sea Festival offers a community parade, pancake breakfast, live music, children’s craft activities, a kids’ version of the sandcastle building competition, a farmers’ market, and an international food fair. This year’s theme is “Superheroes in the Sand” and promises to deliver an action-packed array of cool castles.
