Now Accepting Donations For PSRAR “Feed the Hungry” Food Drive

The Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, and Palm Desert offices of Bennion Deville Homes are once again participating in the Palm Springs Regional Association of Realtors® (PSRAR) annual “Feed the Hungry” food drive campaign by collecting non-perishable food items, new clothing, and money. All donations benefit Well in the Desert, a 501c3 non-profit organization providing daily nutritious meals, emergency food distribution services, and advocacy for those affected by poverty. The food drive runs from August 1st to August 27th this year. Participating Coachella Valley Bennion Deville Homes offices include:

“We are proud to once again participate in the PSRAR ‘Feed the Hungry’ canned food drive, benefitting Well in the Desert,” says David Cantwell, Managing Broker.  “Each year in the summer months our local donation supplies dip. It is critical that we continue to keep the supplies at a moderate level to ensure everyone in our local community who is in need may be supplied, and in case of emergency.”

Please bring non-perishable goods, travel-sized toiletries, new clothes, or monetary donations to any of the participating Bennion Deville Homes offices between August 1st and August 27th. Items needed include: Peanut butter, jelly, canned fruits and vegetables, fruit juices, canned meat and fish (chicken, tuna, and salmon), soups and chili, granola and breakfast bars, travel-sized toiletries, bottled water, and new, unused clothing essentials such as underwear, socks, shirts, pants, and shoes.

“I would like to encourage all of our agents, staff, and clients to help PSRAR and Well in the Desert achieve our fundraising goals,” states Bob Deville, Co-Owner of Bennion Deville Homes. “Well in the Desert provides essential services to our community and helps many of our friends, neighbors, and families. Often these supply stores run low in the summer months, so this annual drive is a critical component to re-stocking the shelves and keeping the supplies flowing.
