Bennion Deville Homes proudly welcomes REALTOR® Russell Thiessen to the Encinitas office, located at 258 North El Camino Real, Suite C. Russell works with buyers, sellers, and investors, specializing in Menifee where he has lived for decades.

Prior to earning his real estate license, Russell worked in securities, specializing in commodities, stocks, and mutual funds. His background in finance gives him firsthand knowledge of reading investments and understanding shifts in the market. “I can sit down with a client, regardless of their goals, and walk them through the benefits of their investment,” Russell states. “I understand the cost of borrowing money so I am able to help my clients find the right property for them, and also determine the best finance options, too.”

Being a savvy businessman, Russell also has personal real estate investments and owns properties throughout Southern California. He enjoys sharing the lessons he has learned with his clients so they may leverage his experience to their benefit. “I know the real estate process very well both in the traditional sense and from the perspective of an investor. You have to be able to read the market and take advantage of downturns. My experience in investing across all industries is a huge asset to my clients,” Russell continues.

Helping people is Russell’s favorite aspect of real estate, and business in general. “I like finding that ‘diamond in the rough’ for my clients, where a home checks off all the boxes and is exactly what they are looking for.” In order to best help his clients, Russell is a steadfast believer in building a solid foundation of trust. Russell’s honesty and sincere approach to client relationship building creates instant credibility and a connection with others. “Buying a home is the biggest investment most people make in their lives. Because of the magnitude of the decision, it is imperative that my clients and I trust each other, and they know that their interests are my number one concern.”

Russell’s selflessness goes beyond the call of his career. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 6 ½ years. His time in the Marines instilled in him demonstrable leadership qualities that he still proudly displays to this day. “Traits we learned, such as justice, dependability, judgment, initiative, integrity, loyalty, knowledge, unselfishness, bearing, enthusiasm, tact, and endurance, are important qualities in a Marine and in a real estate agent. Understanding how to work with people on a fundamental level while working toward accomplishing their goals with them is paramount to my success in real estate. Living by these leadership traits helps me be the best agent I can be, and in turn, helps my clients enjoy a smooth, successful process.”
