Both Kristi (from La Verne) and Tina (from Diamond Bar) are Southern California natives and intimately know the region.
Finding success in real estate together has been a fun, unique journey for both Kristi and Tina. Kristi jumped into residential resale in 1995, and originally partnered with her mother-in-law. This experience solidified Kristi’s belief that working with a partner allows her to best serve her clients. “I have always enjoyed working with a partner because we can blend our strengths as individuals to make an even stronger team,” Kristi says. Tina initially broke into real estate on the commercial side where she worked for 5 years before switching to residential homes after spending several years in education. “I think we have a harmonious blend of skills,” Tina says. “I tend to gravitate toward the emotional side of things with clients and get them excited about the process of buying or selling a home. Kristi is exceptional with reviewing contracts and navigating the business details. Our personalities work really well together and our clients always have fun as a result of that dynamic.”
Prior to teaming up to help clients accomplish their real estate goals, the two met when their daughters were scoring goals on a local youth soccer team. “We became friends through our daughters’ soccer team. We just hit it off really well and became fast friends. That friendship blossomed into a business opportunity as we found many commonalities with how we believe a business should be run,” Kristi says. The solid foundation of friendship gives Kristi and Tina the perfect platform to move forward as business partners because they emphatically trust each other. “We have a mutual respect for each other, both personally and professionally; from our work ethic to the way we conduct business with our clients,” Tina adds.
As a result of their strong bond, Kristi and Tina deliver a one-of-a-kind experience for their clients. “We are not your typical REALTORS® in that we provide an element of fun and lightness to the process,” Kristi continues. Their hands-on and friendly approach to client service keeps the transaction experience as stress-free as possible and forges friendships with clients. “We are always grateful and humbled to help others, and we enjoy our role as real estate experts. As caring and compassionate individuals, Kristi and Tina contribute their time and resources to causes they care about deeply, including Here to Serve and City of Hope. Tina is on the board and M.C.s events for Here to Serve, an organization that helps people going through a traumatic event, such as cancer. Here to Serve offers a forum for raising money and provides access to resources such as meals, cleaning services, and errand running so people going through traumatic events and their families can focus on what’s important. “Helping others is true to our nature, and we always want to pay it forward. These organizations have been there for us and we want to make sure we do our part to give back.”
