Welcome Home, Bill Lieber!
Bennion Deville Homes proudly welcomes REALTOR® Bill Lieber to the Palm Springs South office, located at 2465 East Palm Canyon Drive. Bill specializes in Palm Springs properties, helping buyers, sellers, and investors accomplish their real estate goals. He has been visiting the desert since the 1990’s and enjoys sharing his passion for the desert lifestyle experience with others. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and an M.B.A. from Duke University.
Prior to earning his real estate license, Bill managed an extensive telecommunications network of major outside sales and marketing dealers, which delivered a total of $84M in consumer sales. His time in a corporate environment instilled in him a sense of discipline and organization that carries over to his career in real estate. “I have a long history in sales and marketing, as well as problem-solving,” he says. “Customer service and relationship-building are paramount when you are running an $84 million-a-year business. Being organized and paying attention to the details are critical. By leveraging my professional experience, I keep the transaction process on track and as smooth as possible while delivering a strong brand of client service.”
For over thirty years, Bill has personally renovated and restored many homes. He always enjoys these passion projects, and found the entire process, from home search through finished updating, interesting. As a result, Bill’s personal experience in real estate investments lured him into a second career. Over the course of his home searches and negotiations, he always thought he could do it better than the agents guiding him, which pushed him to get his license. “I was out front of agents I used in the past so I decided it was time to get my license and jump into the business from the other side. I enjoy helping others by using my professional background, personal investment experience, and passion for homes to create a successful outcome. Employing my background in renovating homes, I can help my clients visualize the potential in a space and get them to see an alternate perspective that they might not have seen otherwise.”
Bill is driven by the ability to help advance the lives of others through his career in real estate. “That ‘you know it when you see it’ feeling people get when they find ‘The Place’ is the best. Eliciting a positive reaction from a client makes my job incredibly rewarding and so much fun.” In addition, Bill is addicted to the thrill of negotiations and leveraging his clients’ positions to create the best deal possible for all parties. “I enjoy being a deal maker and putting the pieces together to come up with the best fit for my clients. As a real estate professional, I relish problem-solving and looking at the situation from multiple perspectives to find a positive solution.”
Bill’s passion for helping others extends beyond the realm of real estate. Like many others, Bill was impacted when someone close to him experienced a cancer diagnosis. Bill channeled that experience into helping others in 2013 by forming a Patient and Family Assistance Fund at the Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute in Chicago. “When people need additional help covering costs that their insurance company won’t cover or the hospital might not cover, they have a place to go to get that assistance.” In addition, Bill donates a portion of each transaction to the charity of the client’s choosing. “I want to give back to causes that are near and dear to my clients. It is important to give back and leave no stone unturned in regard to helping others.”
Bennion Deville Homes is the place for Bill to call home because of the company’s approach to servicing its agents and philanthropic activities. Bill also knew Bennion Deville Homes Managing Broker Dean Foster from years ago, who introduced him to the brokerage. “Bennion Deville Homes has a hands-on, personal touch with its agents. They treat us well, and parlay that goodwill into the community where they are very involved in giving back. The philanthropic efforts of Bennion Deville Homes are important to me because that charitable ethos mirrors my personal principles,” he concludes.
Adds Managing Broker Dean Foster, “I met Bill Lieber when we were both part of different industries, and was impressed with him back then. He is an amicable, professional, and passionate person. His strong background in business coupled with his personal accomplishments make him an excellent addition to our Palm Springs South family. On behalf of everyone, welcome, Bill.”
