Love Is In The Air, and NOT Just For Romantics!

Realtors® are noted for being involved with plenty of community services and events…after all, neighborhoods are what Real Estate is all about, right?

The Palm Springs Board of Realtors® hosts three charity auctions each year. Windermere agents took part in an incredibly successful Valentine Auction at the Board. Our entry was a pair of GIANT gift baskets, each containing $300-400 in gift certificates and other goodies contributed by great local companies, including Roy’s of the Desert, Ruby’s Diner, Aspen Mills Bakery, and Koffi. Five charities benefited from this special event: The Boys and Girls Club of the Coachella Valley; The Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City, Mizell Senior Center, Family Services of the Desert, and Well in the Desert.  From this one event alone, $4100 was raised.  And we’re not bragging (much) but Windermere’s baskets accounted for more than half of the proceeds. Okay, we’re bragging.

“Our Windermere agents always step up to the plate for local charities, and we are very proud of this. Giving back to the communities we work, live and play in continues to remain top priority with Windermere,” says Bob Deville, Windermere Coachella Valley co-owner.
