Bennion Deville Homesone of the nation’s leading independent real estate companies, has a storied history of giving back to the local Southern California communities it serves. The Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® (PSRAR) and its Back to School bowling tournament raised school supplies and funds for students heading back to class, and Bennion Deville Homes donated a bounty of supplies in support.

Through The Bennion & Deville Foundation, the company has donated thousands of dollars to local non-profit and community support organizations, running the gamut from health services helping families, seniors, LGBT, and the homeless, to education, arts, and community causes. The foundation receives a portion of each Bennion Deville Homes sales transaction, with some agents electing to donate additional dollars to the foundation for each deal they close. The results thus far have been phenomenal, and as the valley’s real estate market continues to strengthen, so will the foundation’s coffers.

“Creating a legacy of philanthropy is a major pillar of the Bennion Deville Homes founding principles,” says Bob Deville, Co-Owner of Bennion Deville Homes. “We want to be a catalyst for growth and positive change. Bob [Bennion] and I have always focused on leaving a lasting mark in the communities we serve by helping others. We are fortunate to be in a position to give back and lend assistance to those who need a little extra support, so we do so whenever and wherever possible.”

In addition to the company’s philanthropic efforts through its Foundation, Bennion Deville Homes agents and staff are exemplary community partners. Over the brokerage’s 17-year existence, Bennion Deville Homes agents and staff have volunteered thousands of hours working in the community and donating on their own to causes they hold dear. From time served on local non-profit boards, to canned good and toy drives, Bennion Deville Homes is well-represented, and regarded, in the giving community around Greater Palm Springs Area.

Each year, the holiday season offers the best opportunity to give back to the community, and the recent months saw tons of participation in new and established ways. The company held its annual valley-wide toy drive, with over 40 donation boxes collected for local children. In addition, the company participated in Thanksgiving canned goods donation drives, collecting and distributing hundreds of pounds of non-perishable food stuffs for local food pantries.

“Our offices, agents, and staff did a tremendous job of brightening the spirits of others over the holidays. Of course, these efforts are continued throughout the year in a variety of ways, but everyone needs a little extra cheer over the course of the holiday season. Food pantry stocks need bolstering and all kids deserve something to open under the tree. We are proud to have contributed to those efforts,” adds Bob Bennion http://bdhomes.com/agent_profile.asp?id=45, Co-Owner of Bennion Deville Homes.

2018 holds much promise for the Coachella Valley. The Greater Palm Springs Area is enjoying all-time high popularity levels thanks to marquee events such as the Palm Springs International Film Festival, the BNP Paribas Open, Coachella, Stagecoach, and others. Permanent and part-time resident numbers are swelling, and the real estate market is healthy as a result. “Our team is looking at new and innovative ways to contribute and become even more involved in the community this year. However those efforts come to fruition, our mission to advance the lives of others and spread goodwill is a major focus for our brokerage. We look forward to continuing our community outreach support efforts and maintaining our status as a positive partner and good neighbor,” concludes Deville.
