Windermere’s Palm Springs South office in the Smoke Tree Shopping Center (2465 E. Palm Canyon Drive, Suite 605) congratulates the latest winners of the Windermere Palm Springs South ticket drawing…each has won a $50 gift card for Jensens Fine Foods!

How’d they do that? Each winner entered Windermere’s drawing during the Smoke Tree Commons spring promotion.  Tickets get drawn…  pictures get taken… gift cards get presented… everybody’s happy!  

This month’s winners include John Reece and James May.

John Reece, originally from Missouri, first visited Palm Springs in 2008 and fell in love with the place…he’s lived here full-time for the last 3 years, and he is one busy guy. John is a huge entertainment fan, and includes among his favorite things the McCallum Theater, the Palm Springs Film Festival, the Palm Springs Art Museum, and that mystical Hollywood provenance that shimmers mirage-like all around Palm Springs. He volunteers for Modernism Week, and worked with the Palm Springs Follies for 3 years. He enjoys the Valley’s bounty of dining options. And one of John’s very favorite things about the desert is the incredible diversity of its residents and visitors. No argument here!

James May, originally from New York, came to the desert by way of San Francisco. He and his partner of 36 years bought their first home in the La Mesa area of Palm Springs in 1999. Later optimizing their leisure time by downsizing to condo living, they’re freer to indulge their avid passion for travel. They enjoy planning their frequent visits to San Francisco and Sonoma in the northern California wine country, as well as Hawaii and Paris. “But as much as we love traveling, there’s nothing quite like coming back home to this Palm Springs lifestyle,” says James. “Who wouldn’t love an early morning swim?”  Aaaaahhhhh…Paradise indeed.
