Windermere Real Estate Southern California’s Landavazo Group, based out of the Redlands office located at 104 East State Street, Suite C, recently supported the Redlands Bicycle Classic with a booth and giveaways. This year was the group’s first year of participating in the event and, based on the experience, it looks forward to playing a role in the 3-day race for years to come.

“We gave away bags of popcorn with our business card and a note that said, ‘The Real Estate Market is Popping, enjoy some popcorn on us,’” says Realtor^® Stephanie Landavazo. “We had a huge response of positive feedback and have had a number of people who stopped by our booth at the race reach out to us to help with their real estate needs. We try to participate in as many events as we can in the immediate area and Inland Empire to show our community support.”

The Redlands Bicycle Classic is the longest continuous running bike race in the nation. What started as a Memorial Day tradition in 1985 has turned into a true cycling spectacle, with competitors who have gone on to participate in the Olympics, Tour de France, and World Championships. Half of the city shuts down for three days every year to take in the action and support the supreme athletes in the competition.
