The Chili Cook-Off: An Annual Tradition
A chili cook-off recently put the agents and staff at the Encinitas office of Bennion Deville Homes head-to-head in a friendly competition to see who has the hottest hand in the kitchen. Jay Burneo took home first place honors, followed by Rosemary Joles and Cliff Mensch. The afternoon menu, in addition to chili, included all the fixin’s to add additional flavors to the chili, as well as salad, sides, and desserts.
“This hot competition is always popular with the office and is the perfect way to heat things up for the summer sales season,” jokes Chris Moore, Managing Broker. “Everyone enjoys the friendly rivalry, and the excellent chili recipes that were sampled. It was tough to decide but ultimately Jay was crowned this year’s chili cook-off champion. We look forward to holding this popular event again next year.”
