Andrea earned her real estate license in 2013 and holds the Certified Negotiations Expert (CNE) designation from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). She helps clients throughout San Diego and Orange County, specializing in the North County communities of Encinitas, La Costa, Carlsbad, Oceanside, and Vista.
After investing in properties personally while working as a journalist and running a video production company, Andrea realized she belonged in the real estate industry. “I always had it in the back of my mind that real estate would be a good fit for me,” she states. “I love helping people, and I truly enjoyed my experience investing in properties. My passion blossomed when I began helping others taste the same successes I have as a home owner and real estate investor.”
Coming from a career in journalism and video production, Andrea employs her trained skills with an astute approach to marketing to help sell homes faster and for top dollar, with staging driving her success. “I believe in staging as a way to set my listings apart. Studies, and my personal experience, show that staged homes sell quicker and for more money than homes that aren’t staged or have minimal staging.” Recognizing this critical component to the marketing process, Andrea partners with a professional stager to help make her clients’ homes look the best they possibly can. “My job is to offer white glove service to my clients. A big piece of providing good service is setting up my clients’ properties to look incredible and guiding them through the process, start to finish and beyond closing.” In addition, Andrea understands the importance of digital marketing, including social media, and cites video as a driving factor in industry marketing for the next several years. “I use the skills from my past career to help my clients in real estate, which gives my listings a leg up in the market.”
Andrea’s positive attitude and fierce dedication to her business keep her clients happy and engaged, and sets her up for success. This drive also pushes her to be the best real estate professional possible by offering a high-touch level of customer service. “I believe in the ‘nose-to-nose, toes-to-toes’ approach to client service. I want to be in front my clients making a personal connection and giving them the reassurance that I am here for them, working incredibly hard on their behalf.” Andrea understands that in order to be the best for her clients, she also needs to be up-to-date on the industry, including trends and the latest stats. “You have to know the numbers and do your homework. The key to success is perseverance and staying on top of the market.”
Andrea’s passion for helping others extends beyond real estate, carrying over into her personal life. She volunteers with a litany of organizations, including Daybreak Church and Mission Estancia Elementary School. In addition, she actively participates in the Heroes Home Advantage program, a rebate program for those who protect, serve, and care for our country and communities, including military, law enforcement, firefighters, emergency personnel, health care works, and teachers. In 2017 alone she gave over $26,000 to this program. “I want to give back to help others and say, ‘thank you’ to those in our community who do so much to keep us safe and able to enjoy the freedoms our country offers.”
