Allyson Abufarie, REALTOR®, joins the Palm Springs office of Bennion Deville Homes, located at 201 N. Palm Canyon Drive in the heart of the Downtown Palm Springs village. Allyson earned her real estate license in 2020 and has partnered with fellow Bennion Deville Homes agent Annette Dominguez to serve clients throughout the Coachella Valley, specializing in Palm Desert, as well as the scenic mountain community of Idyllwild and Huntington Beach in Orange County. In addition to her real estate license, Allyson holds a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society and Sigma Kappa sorority.
Prior to obtaining her real estate license, Allyson earned valuable experience in the service industry where she honed the craft of delivering exceptional client service through communication, compassion, and creative solutions. “My time in the service industry taught me that everyone deserves the same kind of respect and generosity, a lesson I have adapted for my real estate business,” Allyson says. “In my previous experiences, I always found a way to delight customers by leveraging my deep knowledge of the products and through communicating effectively. I help my clients accomplish their real estate goals through that same approach.” Allyson’s ability to problem-solve is a huge factor in her success and popularity with clients.
Allyson was drawn to real estate because she gets to blend her passion for helping others with her love of homes. “I love the design aspect of homes, and I am a ‘people person.’ I have a lot of confidence in what I do when I have the knowledge and experience behind me, and I strive to learn and know as much as I can in order to succeed. I truly put 100% into what I do, and I take pride in knowing that when I start something new, I will do it to the best of my ability and see it through to the end.” Her ability to connect with people from all walks of life and adjust her style to fit their needs creates a unique brand of service that has become Allyson’s hallmark. “I can adapt quickly to different roles and situations and don’t find discomfort in a change of pace or direction,” she adds.
The key to success for Allyson is her impactful combination of knowledge and ability to build lasting relationships with clients. “Knowledge is the key to being able to explain what the business and the work is about, but if you don’t have a soft yet efficient way to pass that knowledge on, then communication gets cut short and people get frustrated. My goal is to create a smooth experience by providing the information needed to make a decision in a way that my clients will understand, which fosters a trusting relationship and keeps our open dialogue going.” Allyson’s motivation to stay on top of changing trends and shifts within the market gives her clients an edge because she is tuned-in to what’s happening and can arm them with the latest information.
When she is not helping her clients fulfill their real estate dreams, Allyson is passionate about being a strong role model for her daughter and spends as much time with her as possible. She also plans on getting involved in the community to help children and young girls in the near future. “I want to teach my daughter that our bond is invaluable. I take her on a variety of adventures big and small and let her be in charge of certain things so she feels like she has a say in what we do and a sense of accomplishment and involvement. I want to start volunteering in peer groups like Girl Scouts or YMCA programs to help out other young girls and to build their self-esteem. Being in a sorority in college showed me the value of women building each other up. Even if those friendships fade, the lessons behind them are priceless.”
