2018 Del Mar Racing Season Gallops into San Diego

2018 Del Mar Racing Opening Day offers you the opportunity to grab your giant hat and hit the track at Del Mar on July 18^th with a 2 pm post time. The hat competition takes place from 11:30 am until 3 pm in Plaza de Mexico, with 5 categories available for entry. Over $5,000 in prize money will be given away to the winners of the contest, so don’t hold back!

Horse racing season runs July 18^th through September 3^rd, offering weeks of exciting trackside action in one of the most beloved racing venues in the sport. To sweeten the deal, live concerts take place after races have concluded on select dates, with performances planned from Ice Cube, Slightly Stoopid, Tribal Seeds, Nathanial Rateliff and the Night Sweats, The Psychedelic Furs, and more.
