Windermere Real Estate Southern California representatives are heavily entrenched in the Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS^® (PSRAR), a professional real estate organization dedicated to fostering business relationships among its members and giving back to the local community. Recently, Windermere Southern California REALTORS^® and Branch Managers were announced as recipients of year-end awards and officially inducted as 2015 Board Members at the PSRAR Awards and Installation Celebration.

Windermere’s Roy Rigsby was presented with the REALTOR^® of the Year award, given by the PSRAR for outstanding achievements in the practice of real estate. Rigsby is a major contributor to PSRAR’s charity auction efforts and goes above and beyond to help raise funding for the four charities PSRAR chooses to support. For the Harvest Auction, he handmade a Christmas tree skirt and raffled it off at the event, pulling in an additional $1,300. “It is an incredible honor to be recognized by the board,” states Rigsby. “Although my name is on the award, I feel it also goes to my partner Jim Webb, who contributes just as much to our association and profession. This is just as much his award as it is mine.”

Also receiving an award was Branch Manager Randy Wiemer, who was honored with the President’s Award. The President’s Award is presented to a member who has gone above and beyond to help the Association Board achieve its goals of serving the community. “I am honored and humbled to receive this award from the association,” says Wiemer. “I was not expecting to receive the recognition, so it was truly special.”

In addition to the awards presentation, the 2015 Board of Directors was officially sworn into service. Windermere REALTOR^® Jim Webb will serve as President Elect for 2015, Managing Broker David Cantwell returns as a Board Member, and REALTOR^® Dwayne Carrier is Past President.
