Fun Cooks at The 2018 Indio International Tamale Festival

The 2018 Indio International Tamale Festival takes over Old Town Indio between Highway 111 and Indio Boulevard on Saturday, December 1^st and Sunday, December 2^nd, starting at 10am both days. Known as the World’s Largest Tamale Festival, this celebration of the rich heritage and culture of the tamale draws hundreds of thousands of visitors every year to revel in delicious food, good brews, and incredible December desert weather.

Entertainment planned for this year includes 6 stages of live music, traditional Folklorico dancing, line dancing, an interactive art garden, a Tamale Eating Contest, a parade, a Best Tamale Contest, a Best Tamale flavored by Tabasco® Sauce Contest, Car Show, beer garden, and more. Of course, delicious tamales will be available, along with other exciting alternative food options and shopping.
