Get your motor running at the Dr. George Charity Car Show, benefitting the Desert Cancer Foundation and taking place Saturday February 11th at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens. The show, put on by the Palm Springs Cruisin’ Association, features over a thousand classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles, and other custom-built vehicles, along with food, music, and vendors. In addition, celebrity guests Candy Clark and Bo Hopkins from the classic film American Graffiti will be making an appearance.
You have two lanes to choose your car show experience – participant or spectator. Have a classic, custom, or otherwise cool, car? Consider entering as a participant. The cost is $40 per vehicle. Looking for a day with the family checking out unique cars? Then consider attending. An offered donation is required for entry, and parking is $5. All proceeds from the event go to Desert Cancer Society, a local non-profit Dr. Sebastian George co-founded in 1994 while working at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage.
More information on the Dr. George Charity Car Show can be found on the Palm Springs Cruisin’ Association website.
