Women Rule at Windermere Real Estate

The only glass ceiling you will find at Windermere Real Estate Southern California is the one in your new home’s solarium. Windermere proudly announces the addition of three women of incomparable experience and skill to its family of agents – Catherine Cripe to the Rancho Mirage office (71691 Highway 111); Susan Jacobs to the La Quinta office (47-250 Washington Street); and Corina Swaine to the Palm Desert Portola office (73993 Highway 111). “We attract this level of agent based on who we are and what we stand for as a company,” noted Sandy Beakey, Managing Broker at Windermere’s La Quinta offices.

Catherine Cripe is a multi-talented, energetic woman with a 30-year legal career including partnership and 15 years of experience as an owner and operator of her own interior design firm, a seemingly unconnected pair of interests that fit seamlessly into her passion for real estate. Having owned, remodeled and sold multiple personal residences in communities throughout California, Catherine reported, “I was driven to obtain my broker’s license which allows me to provide even more comprehensive service to current and potential home owners. I am excited to use my organizational skills and attention to legal and physical detail to assist my clients in the fulfillment of their real estate needs and dreams.”

Susan Jacobs, Real Estate Agent at Windermere Real Estate Southern California, La Quinta office

Susan Jacobs fell in love with the desert years ago. She would retreat here to her second home to escape the hustle and bustle of the Bay Area where she worked as the SVP of Corporate Services at Visa after her work in corporate account management with United Airlines. Susan’s corporate background covers event and travel planning as well as commercial development oversight including office location, relocation and remodeling. “I bring the same level of professional commitment to my relationship with my real estate clients as I did with my corporate work,” said Susan. “ I love the attention to detail and organization that is required in good real estate transactions.”

Corina Swaine, Real Estate Agent at Windermere Real Estate Southern California, Palm Desert Portola office

Managing Broker Sandi Richardson was “blown away by Corina Swaine’s impressive credentials. She really raises the bar for the industry in terms of her level of education and experience.” Corina’s near 30-year career in real estate has spanned some of the best markets in Southern California including the San Diego area communities of Rancho Santa Fe, Carlsbad and Solana Beach. She has called the Coachella Valley home for the past 7 years. Her bilingual skills also have served her well as an interpreter, translator and tutor to students at UCSD, The Design Institute of San Diego and the Desert Sands Unified School District. Her knowledge of the local market coupled with her cultural and international experience makes her a valuable asset to both potential buyers and sellers.

“We are thrilled to have these outstanding agents join our family. I know they will be pleased to be with a company that treats their insights and innovation with equal credence,” remarked Carol Cianfarani, Director of Business and Agent Development for Windermere Real Estate Southern California.
