Real estate agents do more than just sell homes. They also serve as ambassadors of their neighborhoods and local communities. This week, Windermere Real Estate Southern California is pleased to highlight two agents, who have recently joined Windermere. These agents have strong ties to Coachella Valley philanthropy. They are not only great real estate professionals but are also actively involved in the institutions and organizations that strive to strengthen our desert cities.
Windermere’s Palm Desert Portola agents and staff welcome Ellen Boyer to their office located near El Paseo at 73-993 Highway 111. Ellen comes to Windermere with a passion for client satisfaction and a love of desert architecture. After a successful career in Chicago theatre and education, she retired to La Quinta. An avid athlete, Ellen plays USTA tennis in clubs across the Coachella Valley. Currently she serves on the Board of Directors for the Indio Performing Arts Center and is a patron of the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert.
Ellen’s artistic and athletic passions inspire her ability to market the properties of sophisticated sellers and effectively assist her buyers in realizing their real estate dreams. “My passion for set design and theatre direction is a terrific background for staging homes, re-imagining spaces, and communicating effectively with my clients,” shared Ellen. Her enthusiasm for tennis has given Ellen an extensive knowledge of the numerous country and tennis clubs throughout the Coachella Valley. Her first-hand familiarity with these clubs is a great asset to buyers looking to relocate to the desert or who are looking for vacation homes that feature the finest in tennis amenities.
“Ellen is a very resourceful, creative professional. A multi-layered agent, she brings a wealth of experience and tremendous networking capabilities to bear in representing her clients,” said Sandi Richardson, Managing Broker for Windermere’s Palm Desert Portola office.
Henry Hudson – Rancho Mirage
Windermere’s Rancho Mirage office is pleased to welcome Henry Hudson to their office located at 71691 Highway 111. Henry is well-known in the Coachella Valley, having previously served as the Director of Human Resources at Desert Regional Medical Center for 13 years. A resident of the Palm Springs area for over 18 years, Henry serves on the Board of Directors for a number of local non-profits, including the United Way of the Desert, the Mizell Center and the Career Pathways Initiative.
Henry’s background includes a long history of working in real estate for his own personal, business and entrepreneurial endeavors. His intimate knowledge of the community resources and organizations allows him a unique perspective in guiding his clients in their discovery and selection of their next home and neighborhood. Henry is well versed to enable a successful transition experience to anyone relocating to the Coachella Valley, whether they are first-time home buyers, looking for second home or simply upgrading.
“As a longtime resident of the local community, Hank has a full appreciation of the growth and development that we’ve seen in the desert cities. His impressive local knowledge, as well as his wide-reaching network, makes him a fine addition to our well-rounded family of real estate professionals,” said Don Rossignol, Managing Broker for Windermere’s Rancho Mirage office.
