Maxwell Lifschutz, REALTOR®, joins the Indian Wells office of Bennion Deville Homes, located at 74-910 Highway 111. Maxwell has been in the real estate industry since 2018 and has experience with commercial real estate, real estate investments, and working with traditional home buyers and sellers. He serves clients throughout the Coachella Valley, specializing in the communities of La Quinta, Indio, and Palm Desert. In addition to his real estate license, Maxwell holds a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Maxwell’s first taste of real estate came through property investment, which he did successfully for 6 years prior to getting into the business full-time. When he entered the real estate industry, Maxwell worked on the commercial side of the business. His time spent in that arena coupled with his personal investment experience primed him well for his shift to focus on residential real estate. “The process between the two is pretty much the same, however, the biggest difference is the emotional investment that goes into buying a home,” Maxwell says. “I always wanted to get into residential real estate from my experience as an investor. The commercial side of the business offered me something new and different that I was interested in learning more about, but my goal was always to get into helping clients buy and sell homes.”

Another element that Maxwell appreciates about his role as a real estate professional is the infusion of technology in the buying and selling process. “There are so many tech-based tools that allow us to serve our clients at the highest level possible. An entire transaction can be facilitated online and searching for homes is as easy as it’s ever been. I am excited to be able to operate within an industry that continues to push the boundaries of what technology can do to enhance the experience from start to finish,” Maxwell continues.

As a successful professional, Maxwell understands what it takes to maintain a strong business – building meaningful relationships with clients. “I treat my clients like my family and always do what’s right for them. I would rather walk away from a deal if it’s not right for their needs than have them be unhappy with the outcome. Finding the right value is important. My objective is to get to know them so I can identify their goals and then provide the information they need to make a decision that’s in their best interest,” Maxwell adds.

Maxwell’s multi-faceted experience both personally and professionally allows him to meet the needs of a diverse pool of clients, including investment properties. “I am very passionate about investing and have learned a lot from my time doing it both personally and for others. Discussing objectives and evaluating properties from that perspective is fun, and I have a lot of insight to offer my clients who are thinking about making an investment.”

Outside of his drive to help others through his real estate services, Maxwell enjoys giving back to the community. “I volunteer my time with Seiden Kai JC, which helps special needs kids through karate classes. It feels good to give back and help others. No matter what’s happening outside of that class, it always puts a smile on my face to engage and interact with the students.”
