Karen Alciatore, REALTOR®, joins the Rancho Mirage office of Bennion Deville Homes, located at 71691 Highway 111. Karen is partnering with her fiancée and fellow Bennion Deville Homes agent Mark Pariser to serve Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage and the surrounding cities. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Aquinas College in Michigan.

Prior to entering the real estate industry full-time, Karen created a successful career in various fields, including sales and marketing, finance, and construction project management. Her unique professional background gives her the perfect range of specialized talents she can employ to help her clients accomplish their goals. “My favorite aspect of business, regardless of the role or industry, is helping people,” Karen states. “Connecting with others and creating meaningful relationships is important to me both professionally and personally. I love to make people happy and do all that I can to ensure that at the end of it all, my clients are beyond satisfied with the outcome.”

With highly successful stops along her way to becoming a real estate agent, Karen has developed the right mix of business smarts and essential skills to deliver top results for her clients. “I worked with clients to help them rebuild their homes after fires. Having a hand in making the dramatic change when everything was fully restored was incredibly fulfilling, and I developed a strong eye for design and detail in that role. I can walk through a home, see the opportunities for potential in a space, and help my clients visualize those possibilities as well.” Karen also gets to use her marketing and design background with the promotion of properties, utilizing her creative development skills to help the homes she lists stand out from the crowd.

In addition to her eye for design and marketing expertise, Karen’s tenure as an area manager for a lending company gives her a strong grasp of the financial elements involved in a real estate transaction. “Through my experience in the field, I am able to guide clients and coach them on the questions to ask or things to review closely, especially with more complicated situations.” Karen employs this knowledge base to further serve her clients and ensure the process is as smooth as possible.

Fundamentally, the key to success for Karen is her commitment to ethics. “Honesty and transparency are the hallmarks of success. I am committed to understanding my clients’ needs and delivering on them without an agenda; clients come first, always.” Karen’s clients also benefit from her tenacious work ethic and desire to be proactive in handling any and all situations. “I like to get ahead of things and will do all I can to add a calming influence to what can be an emotional experience by keeping my composure and ensuring the process is as organized as possible. I understand what homes represent to us, so I try to be sensitive and compassionate toward my clients in fulfilling their goals.”

When Karen is not working with clients, she dedicates time and resources to making the local communities a better place to live by giving to Coachella Valley Rescue Mission and The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, where she is a committee member. “I have always enjoyed animals and kids, so I am more than happy to contribute to two causes I love. Additionally, as someone who does all they can to get people into their dream homes, supporting a cause that at its core serves those who need help with basic needs such as a place to live or access to quality meals is an extension of my professional life. It is gratifying to give back and it makes me feel good to know I am creating a positive impact in someone else’s life.” Additionally, Karen relishes the relaxed desert lifestyle and enjoys exploring the local hiking trails, traveling, and has been known to relive her time as a professional snowboarder on the slopes.
