James Braun, REALTOR®, joins the Bennion Deville Homes Rancho Mirage office, located at 71691 Highway 111. James is a Southern California native and earned his real estate license in 2003. He works with buyers and sellers throughout the Coachella Valley, specializing in the Rancho Mirage communities of The Springs Country Club, Sunrise Country Club, and Rancho Las Palmas.
Prior to earning his real estate license, James worked as an executive chef and has management experience in the food and beverage industry. This time in a creative field that features tight deadlines and high-pressure situations prepared him for his career in real estate. “I absolutely sharpened my client service skills and learned the value of organization working in restaurants and within management,” James says. “You have to be prepared for things to change in an instant while maintaining focus on the goal, and always seek feedback so you know if you are hitting the mark and to better understand how to improve. I bring that same mindset to my real estate career where my number one job is to make sure I am serving my clients in the best way possible and delivering what it is they are seeking, whether that’s the perfect home or the right buyer for their home.”
James cites listening and honesty as the two primary factors for his success. “You have to be receptive to what your clients are saying, and maintain an open, honest relationship with them at all times. Communication skills are essential to set the framework for how we are going to work together, but it is also my responsibility to keep my clients up-to-date and to be available to them for questions that arise.”
Beyond his outstanding communication skills, James thrives as a real estate professional because of his passion for helping others. “My favorite part about my job is knowing that I am making a difference in the lives of my clients and assisting them in getting where they want to go. Whether it’s the financial security that comes with owning a home or the emotional connection we make with where we live, I do all I can to ensure they get what they want with the best deal possible for their interests.”
