Welcome Home, Debbie Conant!
Debbie Conant, REALTOR®, joins the La Quinta office of Bennion Deville Homes, located at 47-350 Washington Street, Suite 101. Debbie, a California native (San Diego), earned her real estate sales license in 2008 and works with home buyers and sellers throughout the Coachella Valley, specializing in the communities of North La Quinta, Indio, Palm Desert, and Indian Wells. She is a resident of Indian Springs Country Club.
Prior to earning her real estate salesperson’s license, Debbie gained a bounty of professional experience in related fields, including banking, commercial property management, lending, and title. “I started out in banking for 11 years and my career naturally progressed from there,” Debbie says. “My last position before I earned my license was 6-and-a-half years as a branch manager and sales rep for a title company. All of my prior experience led me to earning my real estate license, and the skills I developed over the years have helped me offer a high-quality client experience. Once I started as a REALTOR®, I sold my first home within 23 days of having my license and haven’t looked back. I have worked very hard to grow my business.”
Helping people has always been a key part of Debbie’s professional experience, and as a REALTOR® she gets to play an integral role in enhancing people’s lives. “I enjoy working with others and always try to put myself in my clients’ shoes and proceed from there. Because I take a personal interest in the outcome of each client, I form friendships with them that last beyond the transaction.” Because of her commitment to serving clients and maintaining a close relationship with them, even after the ink is dry on the contract, Debbie has been entrusted to help many of her clients’ family and friends via referral.
As a real estate veteran, Debbie understands what it takes to create positive outcomes for clients and to meet their needs. Clients are always impressed with her strong work ethic and integrity throughout the process, which drives her success in the business. “I love to talk, but I know when to listen,” Debbie laughs. “I offer honest advice to my clients that is based on objective information. Everything I do is done ethically with honesty and integrity; people are good judges of character so I work hard and provide transparency. My goal is to create a lifelong relationship that is founded on trust,” she adds.
Debbie also cites her communication, follow up, and punctuality as factors in what makes her a good REALTOR®. “Doing as you say you are going to do is everything. Being available to clients, returning phone calls, and staying on top of the changing trends in technology and the market are all crucial to providing quality results and growing a successful business,” she continues. The creative side of real estate is also a huge strength and draw for Debbie, who has an eye for design. “I enjoy looking at what people have done with their homes, exploring what’s possible within a space, and preparing a home for market so it looks its best to prospective buyers.”
Prior to making the move to the desert full-time, Debbie had been visiting the area for over 30 years and knows the desert intimately. “I have seen the desert grow so much from when I first started coming here. When it came time for my husband to retire, we knew that the desert was the best place for us because of its affordability and the unparalleled lifestyle.” Together, Debbie and her husband, who have been married for nearly 3 decades, enjoy the enviable outdoor lifestyle of the desert, including biking, golfing, hiking, and swimming. In addition to spending time being active outside, they share moments with an ever-expanding social circle with others who have also settled in the desert.
