David Dennert, REALTOR®, joins the Bennion Deville Homes Carlsbad office, located at 300 Carlsbad Village Drive, Suite 217. David brings his passion for helping others and local knowledge to work with his clients throughout North County San Diego, specializing in the communities of Oceanside, Carlsbad, Solana Beach, and La Costa.

Real estate is part of David’s family legacy and a big reason why he joined the industry. “My grandpa, dad, and uncles were all in real estate while I was growing up so I was able to see how incredible this business is firsthand,” David says. “Knowing that they were able to work as hard as they did and be rewarded for it was inspiring, and a huge part of why I love being a real estate professional. Hard work pays off.” David also takes the lessons he learned from his family and applies them to his own business, adapting to the needs of the market and his clients.

Outside of his family connection to the industry, David is a seasoned sales professional and genuinely enjoys meeting new people. “I am always talking to and engaging with others to find out how I can add value. This is part of how I build strong relationships and a solid reputation with my clients. Even if I can’t offer a solution to them directly, I probably know someone who can. I thrive off the energy of others and understand how to interact and engage with everyone across all generations. Asking questions and having open, honest conversations is a key to my success,” David continues.

David also acts as an educator, going above the call to ensure his clients have a full understanding of how the process works and how real estate professionals can help with their needs. “My job is to offer a higher level of care and service standards to my clients so they know their needs are being met with honesty and professionalism. When I am working with a client, they know that my focus is solely on fulfilling their needs. This is the advantage of using a real estate professional such as myself in a real estate transaction versus a tech-based discount brokerage. I strive to have character and act with integrity in everything I do both personally and professionally. It is important that people know they can trust me and that I will do whatever it takes to accomplish their goals,” David continues.

Tapping into his personal ethos, David is very active in his community and works diligently to make the neighborhoods he serves better places to live. A current lifeguard and member of the Fire Department, David volunteers his time with the Mitchell Thorp Foundation and San Diego Brain Injury Foundation. He also worked for the Carlsbad Village Boys and Girls Club as a member of the sports clubs staff. “That feeling of joy by giving back and making a positive impact on someone else’s life is like nothing else in this world. I have been surfing since I was 2, so when we do surfing events with adaptive persons of all ages who have had a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and I see a smile on someone’s face who has never surfed or dreamt of surfing, there is nothing that can beat that feeling of fulfillment and gratification.”
