Bennion Deville Homes is proud to welcome Realtor® Heather Olson to the Encinitas office, located at 258 North El Camino Real, Suite C. Heather joins The SoCal Beach Property Team, spearheaded by Eva Marshall and Valerie Arteaga, which helps buyers and sellers in coastal North County San Diego, including the communities of Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, and Oceanside, achieve their real estate goals.
Heather always had an interest in real estate, even before making it her profession. “It has been my lifelong dream to turn my passion for homes into a career so I may help others find happiness through real estate,” says Heather. “I am fascinated by the emotional connection we make with our homes. I help my clients who are buying translate those feelings to find the right home for them, and work with my sellers to help buyers make that instant connection with the listing.”
Prior to entering real estate full-time, Heather, who earned a Master’s in Education from the University of Arizona, was a teacher. By combining her love of real estate with key skills she developed in her time as an education professional, Heather is able to offer an insightful, thorough brand of client service. “It all boils down to listening to clients and finding their needs in order to fully address them. My experience as an educator taught me how to ask lots of questions and effectively explain and communicate complicated information into digestible pieces. These skills help my clients understand the process better, and hopefully learn a thing or two over the course of our time together,” she adds. Heather’s clients appreciate her organization skills and ability to juggle multiple items at once, ensuring the transaction process runs smoothly.
Giving back to her community is something that Heather also enjoys, specifically to community organizations Bread of Life and Stop Hunger Now. “I am always looking for ways to help those who are in need, especially with the basics like food, water, and shelter. My involvement with both Bread of Life and Stop Hunger Now revolves around creating meals or care packages for those who need it most. It feels good to know I am making a positive difference in someone’s life and we can share that joy through a meal,” Heather continues.
Seeking a real estate brokerage that has the tools and resources to help her grow as a real estate professional, Heather joined Bennion Deville Homes. “At this point in my career, a strong foundation of support is critical to help foster my growth. Bennion Deville Homes provides this in spades through exclusive marketing and technology tools, as well as the knowledgeable support staff and Managing Brokers. The whole package of working with Eva and her team and what Bennion and Deville provide agents makes it the perfect place for me,” Heather concludes.
Says Chris Moore, Managing Broker, “We are excited to welcome Heather to our Encinitas office family. Her dedication to clients, passion for the industry, and unique background as an educator make her a well-rounded real estate professional who will flourish with our brokerage.”
