The Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade: Making Spirits Bright

The Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade takes over Palm Canyon Drive on Saturday, December 2^nd starting at 5:45pm. This annual tradition celebrates its 25^th year, and is expected to attract over 100,000 people to Downtown Palm Springs to take in this bright celebration.

Known for brilliant floats with twinkling, multi-colored lights, marching bands, dancers, and large balloons, the Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade is pulling out all the stops in honor of its Silver Anniversary. For the first time in its history, the parade will be broadcast in its entirety on local NBC affiliate KMIR-TV.

This year’s Celebrity Grand Marshal is Ross Mathews, with Community Grand Marshals Eric and Lindsey Bennett (stars of HGTV’s Desert Flippers), Community Sweetheart Bella da Ball, and Community Grand Marshal Former Palm Springs Mayor Will Kleindienst also taking center stage over the course of the night.
