Palm Desert Concerts in the Park 2018 returns for another year of eclectic musical tastes at one of the Southern California’s finest open air venues – Palm Desert Civic Center Park! Taking place every Thursday evening in May and October, this free concert series is open to the public and held on the terraced lawn of the Civic Center Park Amphitheater. With performances by acts playing a variety of genres, including reggae, R&B, country, and indie, there is a little something for all musical tastes.

The season kicks off May 3^rd with Grammy-nominated band Ambrosia. The remaining acts include The PettyBreakers (a Tom Petty tribute band) on May 10, Dead Winter Carpenters (Bluegrass) on May 17, The Blue Breeze Band (Motown and R&B) on May 24, and All Our Exes Live in Texas (Indie/Folk) on May 31.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or a chair to fully enjoy a night of live music under the stars. In addition to the music, food trucks will be on the scene, offering up a variety of delicious dishes. For those who prefer, picnics are welcome and encouraged as well.
