Bennion Deville Homes welcomes REALTOR® Joel Vendette to the Indian Wells office, located at 74-910 Highway 111 at the corner of Cook Street and Highway 111. Joel earned his real estate license in 2011 and works with clients throughout the Coachella Valley, specializing in Cathedral City where he is a resident. In addition to his real estate license, Joel has a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Boston University.

Prior to entering the real estate industry full-time, Joel built a successful 15-year career as an art director working for newspapers and publications. His time spent in this creative and detail-oriented position set him up for immediate success in real estate, a field that often requires a unique perspective and an eye for minutiae. “I was always interested in real estate because I enjoy connecting with and helping people,” Joel says. “Real estate allows me to be creative and work one-on-one with clients. Making a positive, personal impact on the lives of others is such a rewarding feeling and the best part of my role.”

Employing an honest approach creates a strong bond between Joel and his clients. This open and genuine style has created repeat and referral clients for his business, along with a strong reputation as someone who can deliver results. “I am fortunate that my business enjoys repeat and referral clients. I treat people like I would my best friends and family. That means I am open and frank with them about the process, their situation and needs, and anything that comes up along the way. When you show your clients respect and act as a trusted advisor and a confidant, you develop a connection with each other. My goal is to honor my position as their real estate consultant while giving everyone the attention they deserve so they feel like they are my top priority,” continues Joel.

Hailing from a creative background, Joel has a different perspective on a home or a client’s unique situation. He also works hard to make the entire experience as fun and enjoyable as possible. “I can help visualize things for clients,” Joel adds. “I am able to think outside of the box and from a different angle. From coming up with a creative solution to an issue or simply looking at a home and offering some visual cues to help present what’s possible within a space, my clients benefit from my background as an art director as well as my decade of real estate experience.”

Even outside of his professional role in real estate, Joel enjoys helping others whenever he can. He partners with Home For A Home, which receives a contribution from each closed sale to go toward building homes for families in Guatemala. He has also spent time and resources with non-profit and community organizations. “I may not always be in a position to volunteer my time, so I look for creative ways to help others, which is why I enjoy being part of Home For A Home. If I am in a position to help causes I care about, I will do what I can to do my part.”
