Great news is blooming this spring – Coachella Valley farmers’ markets are open across our resort cities. You can get fresh fruits and veggies, coffee and tea, artisan cheeses, breads, pastas, meats, seafood, and other delicious, locally sourced products in Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, and La Quinta. In addition to fresh fare, vendors with a variety of items for sale are on-hand, including clothing, flowers, handmade crafts and gifts, and more. Each market has implemented safety protocols, including mandatory masking, safe social distancing, touchless shopping, and more, to ensure everyone who attends can have a healthy and happy experience valley-wide.

Below are the details on each market by city:

The Palm Springs Certified Farmers’ market is held outdoors on Saturdays from 8am-12:30pm October through May, in the Camelot Theatres parking lot (2300 E. Baristo Road). The indoor market, usually held June to September, operates from 8am-12:30pm inside the Palm Springs Pavilion (401 S. Pavilion Way).

The Rancho Mirage farmers’ market, which is the first certified farmer’s market in the history of the city, is open on Fridays at The Atrium (69930 Highway 111) from 8am to 2pm. Summer hours will be from 5-9pm with the market taking place at the same location.

The Palm Desert Certified Farmers’ Market takes place Wednesdays, October through April, from 8am-12:30pm along San Pablo Avenue between Alessandro Drive and San Gorgonio Way. The official address is 44710 San Pablo Avenue, just up the street from our Palm Desert office and along the freshly widened boulevard.

A Palm Desert open air market, set up by merchants displaced by the Palm Springs VillageFest and the College of the Desert street fair, will be held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am-3pm through June 13th on the western lot in the Costco shopping center (72700 Dinah Shore Drive).

The Indian Wells farmers’ market is held at the Village shopping center (74-895 Highway 111 at Cook Street) from 8am-2pm on Thursdays through May, with plans to resume again in October.

The La Quinta Certified Farmers’ Market is held October through April in Old Town La Quinta (78100 Maim Street off of Calle Tampico) on Sundays from 8am-12:30pm.

We hope that you can get out for some fresh air and fresh produce this spring with these exceptional markets.
