CVRM Donation Drive A Huge Success

Bennion Deville Homes agents, staff, clients, family, and friends recently worked together to help donate a giant haul of essential items to Coachella Valley Rescue Mission (CVRM) for the holidays. Bennion Deville Homes offices throughout the Coachella Valley collected 10 boxes of non-perishable food items, 50 boxes of unwrapped new toys, as well as 10 boxes of coats, shoes, and socks for the CVRM donation drive. About 40 of the 50 boxes of toys were gathered by the La Quinta offices who placed boxes throughout the community at businesses and country clubs, enough to fill the Bennion Deville Homes shuttle bus.

According to data provided by CVRM, the food items gathered will feed 100 people for a week (each box holds enough food to feed 10 people for 7 days). Additionally, CVRM welcomed over 3,000 local children at a toy give away recently, where each child was allowed to choose 4 new, unwrapped toys. “This was absolutely our most successful valley-wide office collection effort ever,” says Charlie White, Managing Broker. “The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission has extended their appreciation of our efforts for assisting in their mission to offer food, clothing, and toys to residents right here in our desert communities during what is one of their peak seasons.”
