Donating a Bounty for Thanksgiving

Bennion Deville Homes Carlsbad agents Rob Myers and Helen Vogel recently organized a food drive in the Shadowridge community of Vista and donated a bounty for Thanksgiving. Rob and Helen canvassed several neighborhoods with brown paper bags and a simple request to fill them with non-perishable food items. As a result of the generosity of the community, the food drive collected over 50 bags filled with goodies, all donated to Brother Benno’s, a local non-profit organization.

“We are proud of Rob and Helen’s efforts to make a positive impact on the local community in North County,” says Bob Deville, Co-Owner of Bennion Deville Homes. “The holidays are a time where food pantries and organizations who provide similar critical services start to run low on supplies. Every bit helps keep these outfits running and doing what they do best – caring for those in need. Brother Benno’s is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to serving the poor and homeless in San Diego North County since 1983. Originally started as a soup kitchen, Brother Benno’s has expanded its services over the years.
