Carina’s real estate journey began when her family started investing in real estate, fixing up homes and selling them. “Originally I did a lot of the construction work myself, which was a lot of fun and something I was passionate about,” says Carina. “I decided it made sense for me to get my real estate license and one thing led to another.” Her passion for the industry is infectious, which is obvious to her clients. “I go to bed thinking about real estate and I wake up in the morning thinking about real estate. I love what I do because it allows me to be creative and help people.”

In addition to personal experience with improving homes, Carina has a detailed professional résumé in the industry. For 6 consecutive years, she ranked in the top 5 nationally for a major home improvement company and spearheaded its presence at major conventions. “My clients like to work with me because I am personable and am able to listen and pinpoint their needs. Whether you are working with someone to figure out the best way to upgrade their kitchen or finding a home for a discriminating buyer, that skill to work with people and come up with creative, constructive solutions still applies.”

With personal experience in hand, Carina can help buyers, sellers, and investors make the best decision for their situation, walking them through every step of the process. She believes that technology helps make the transaction easier, regardless of the side she represents. “As a real estate professional, I take full advantage of available technology to promote and market a home or help my client search for the perfect property. Integrating technology is critical for my business and helps get results for my clients.” Beyond coaching her clients through the technical details of a deal, Carina can also coach her clients on the financial aspects of real estate, offering personal insight based on her history in the industry and knowledge of how to repair credit.

Carina cites the location of the Carlsbad office as her reason for joining the blossoming brokerage. “Carlsbad is second to none and the location in the heart of Carlsbad Village is perfect. It feels good there, and when you feel good, you’re able to shine. Where I am happiest is where I am most successful.”
