Bennion Deville Homes is proud to welcome REALTOR® Andrew Diaz to its Palm Springs office, located at 201 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Suite 120, in the heart of the Downtown Palm Springs village. Andrew is a member of PS Properties, spearheaded by notable industry veterans Patrick Jordan and Stewart Smith, and works with home buyers and sellers throughout the Coachella Valley. Andrew, a California native, earned his real estate sales license in 2020. He also holds bachelor’s degrees in finance and agribusiness from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Real estate has always been part of Andrew’s life and a true passion. His grandmother was a successful real estate agent, and his father was a contractor, so it was only a matter of time before he made his way into the industry full-time. “I love everything about real estate, you could say it’s in my blood,” Andrew says. “Buying and flipping properties was always aspirational for me, and I was lucky to become a homeowner and start investing in my early 20s. I have always been involved in real estate personally, so diving in full time was literally a dream come true. It makes me happy to employ my knowledge of and passion for the field to help my clients accomplish their goals. I am also extremely lucky to work in a destination as beautiful as the Greater Palm Springs Area, where we get to experience easy living and a remarkable quality of life. People love the lifestyle and want to be here, and it is my honor to help them find the right property that matches those desires.”

Due to his professional experience, his positive attitude, and his love of helping others, client service comes naturally to Andrew. Prior to entering the real estate industry full time, he carved out a very successful 11-year career in management at two luxury real estate properties in Northern California, including working for Pebble Beach Resorts and the Monterey Sports Center. His role as Services Director for the Monterey Sports Center gave Andrew the opportunity to touch other peoples’ lives while creating meaningful partnerships and community programs designed for the benefit of the public. In this role, he perfected the arts of negotiations, project management, networking, and utilizing a detail-oriented outlook to accomplish his goals every day. Beyond sharpening his skillset, he recognized his role in serving others and creating positive connections with the community. “Every opportunity I had to interact with a guest I would provide them with white glove service. I have the heart of a servant, which I carry into everything I do.”

Andrew’s ability to engage with others on a deeper level and his commitment to being an asset and their advocate creates a genuine bond with his clients. “I invest in my clients and am willing to spend the time to offer the right resources and information to them. I work incredibly hard on their behalf so they feel comfortable working with me and making a confident decision. To create a successful outcome I attentively listen to their needs, tailor my advice to fit their criteria, and deliver the right options. I always view their situation as if it were my personal decision to make – what would I do and how would I want to proceed? I strive to provide a level of service they won’t experience with anyone else, so educating them and always keeping their interests first sets us up to meet their goals and create a positive experience.”

According to Andrew, the keys to success are having integrity, ethics, and sticking to your moral obligation to your clients. “It is vital to do what you say you are going to do, treat others with respect, listen, and give them your undivided attention. Having market knowledge is another key component to becoming and staying successful in business. Whether I am working with a first-time homebuyer or someone searching for a vacation property, helping my clients successfully make critical, life-changing decisions is very rewarding and fulfilling. My goal is to always under promise and over deliver while establishing my value to my clients as a reliable, trustworthy resource for them that goes beyond the close of a deal,” Andrew adds.

As a generous and sincere individual, Andrew relishes the opportunity to be involved in the community and contribute any way that he can. Locally he is involved with DAP Health, St. Jude’s, Eisenhower Medical Center, and the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert, among others. “My parents and family modeled giving back to the community to me from a very young age. When I was 10, we participated in something called ‘Project Santa’ where we essentially adopted a family for Christmas and gave them everything to celebrate the holiday as well as deliver supplies they need for the rest of the year. I want to affect change for the causes I believe in or that have had a direct impact on my life. I become involved to pay it forward to others so they may have a more positive experience. Plus, it just feels good to know I’m creating meaningful change,” he adds.
