Acing Scholarships For Local Students

Bennion Deville Homes proudly announces it was a sponsor of the 2023 CDAR Scholarship Golf Tournament. This annual fundraiser was held earlier this month at Avondale Golf Club in Palm Desert. The California Desert Association of REALTORS^â (CDAR) organizes and produces this event with all proceeds from the golf tournament benefiting the organization’s scholarship fund. The tournament is a major source of funding for the scholarship fund and is popular among the CDAR membership for its reputation as an exciting and inspiring day spent with friends and colleagues on one of the Coachella Valley’s top golf courses.

Bennion Deville Homes sent four golfers to represent the company at this year’s tournament: David Cardoza of the Sunrise C.C. Onsite Office, Lou Gonzalez and Jon McGihon of the Palm Desert office, and Todd Rous of the La Quinta office. Additionally, Liz Lindsay of the Palm Desert office served on the golf tournament committee and helped organize the event.

Recently, CDAR awarded 10 scholarships of $1,000 each to local high school seniors. The funds raised at this annual tournament go a long way toward handing out those scholarships and ensuring the next generation of students have much-needed assistance paying for their education.”
