Savor Incredible Flavors at the  27^th Annual Indio International Tamale Festival

The 27^th Annual Indio International Tamale Festival cooks up a fun weekend in Old Town Indio between Highway 111 and Indio Boulevard on Saturday, December 7^th and Sunday, December 8^th, starting at 10am both days. Known as the World’s Largest Tamale Festival, this celebration of the rich culture and heritage of the tamale draws hundreds of thousands of visitors every year to revel in delicious food, good brews, and incredible December desert weather.

Entertainment planned for this year includes live music, traditional Folklorico dancing, line dancing, an interactive art garden, a Tamale Eating Contest, a parade, a Best Tamale Contest, a Best Tamale flavored by Tabasco® Sauce Contest, Car Show, beer garden, and more. Of course, delicious tamales will be available, along with other exciting alternative food options and shopping.
