The 2018 Carlsbad Marathon and Half Marathon Hits the Streets

Hitting the pavement Sunday, January 14^th, the 2018 Carlsbad Marathon and Half Marathon offers an excellent opportunity to get outside and run all weekend. Starting Friday, January 12^th, from noon to 6pm, the Health & Lifestyle Expo at the Shoppes at Carlsbad features interactive displays, vendors, samples, and hot deals on apparel, equipment, and more. On Saturday, January 13^th, the Kids Marathon Mile at LEGOLAND shines the racing spotlight on the next wave of athletes as they cruise through a 1-mile course. The main events – the marathon, half marathon, and 5K – take place the next day, with courses meandering through scenic Carlsbad and its varying inclines, declines, and straightaways.
