Bennion Deville Homes proudly welcomes Realtor Toni Carter to the Laguna Niguel office, located at 27941 La Paz Road, Suite A. Toni, who also holds a B.F.A. in Art History with an emphasis in Architecture, works with buyers and sellers throughout Orange County.
Prior to making the leap into real estate full time professionally, Toni successfully sold her personal homes and completed house flips, which inspired her to make real estate her next career move. “I was able to market my homes and control the pace of viewings to maximize sale prices, so I knew real estate sales was an area where I would excel,” she states. Toni’s experience with home rehab was also the springboard that launched her boutique interior design firm, where she furnished and decorated a variety of spaces, from single rooms to full houses.
Toni’s background in art, architecture, and interior design gives her a unique, professional eye to help her clients both buy and sell property. “I can see the potential in all homes, which allows me to help my clients visualize the possibilities in a home they are interested in buying or with listing their home for sale. My job with any listing is to maximize the home’s appeal and create that emotional attachment for homebuyers through the lifestyle displayed within the home by accentuating its best features. Staging is crucial to selling a home because you are presenting it in the best light possible.” she adds.
In addition to her passion for architecture and design, Toni enjoys helping others accomplish their goals. As a result, she employs a distinct, personal style of client service. “I approach my clients with an open personality, which is essential to establishing the rapport and trust required to building a solid, lasting relationship.” Toni’s days as a certified mediator for the University of Georgia have given her the skills to quickly create strong relationships and a high level of comfort with her clients. “I learned to be an excellent communicator. Listening, especially in real estate, is the key to creating a happy client.” Toni’s mediation expertise also comes in handy at the negotiating table, bringing both sides together to form an amicable agreement while keeping client interests in mind.
In her spare time, Toni enjoys giving back to her community through her church, where she is actively involved in service outreach, and also as a volunteer art instructor at her son’s school. “I really enjoy teaching the art classes to kids and cultivating their interest in drawing. At church, we do a variety of service projects around Orange County to improve the quality of life in the neighborhoods we help. It is important to give back any way that you can, and I want to set the right example for my son and teach him to be selfless.”
