Toy donations await a forever home at the Bennion Deville Homes Indian Wells office.

“We are proud of our offices for organizing wildly successful donation campaigns, whether it be canned goods or toys,” says Bob Deville, Co-Founder of Bennion Deville Homes. “Our agents, staff, and clients did an outstanding job giving to those in need this holiday season. We would like to thank everyone who donated and to our community partners for helping us make this an exceptional year for food and toy donations. This time of year offers a reminder to pause and reflect on what’s truly important. Giving to others and holding out a helping hand is always in season, even beyond the holidays.”

Indio Office Toys For Tots Drive

The Bennion Deville Homes Indio office, located at 81-703 Highway 111, held their annual Toys For Tots drive. Bennion Deville Homes agents placed their collection bins throughout Indio, La Quinta, Rancho Mirage, and Palm Desert to help champion the cause. In all, the office donated 30 full boxes worth of brand new, unwrapped toys to the Marines at 29 Palms. The toys stay in the Riverside County area, with most of the toys going to local families in the Coachella Valley.

“The toy drive has become an annual tradition at our office and something that agents, staff, and clients look forward to participating in each year,” says Managing Broker George Baca. “I am proud of our agents for stepping up and doing everything they can do make sure local kids have a new toy to open under their tree. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to our toy drive and to the Marines at 29 Palms for being the conduit to lighting up children’s faces each Christmas morning.”

Food and Toy Drives Benefitting Coachella Valley Rescue Mission

Bennion Deville Homes offices throughout the Coachella Valley also banded together to collect non-perishable, canned goods and new, unwrapped toys for the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, a local organization that plays a pivotal role in helping the less fortunate in our community. In all, each Bennion Deville Homes office contributed at least 3 full donation bins of food to the cause and collected over a dozen boxes of toys.

Bennion Deville Homes offices throughout Southern California aren’t necessarily dashing through the snow this time of year, however, they made spirits bright with office parties throughout the Coachella Valley, San Diego, and Orange County. From festive potlucks filled with delicious dishes, to elegant sit-down dinners and cocktail parties, Bennion Deville Homes agents got into the swing of the holiday season.

In the desert, Indian Wells, Palm Desert, and Rancho Mirage held bountiful potluck lunches for their teams. From homemade, savory sides to decadent desserts, the agents and staff members showed off their culinary skills, all in the name of having some holiday fun. The Indio office held their party at an agent’s home, where everyone in attendance was treated to a delectable home-cooked meal. The Palm Springs offices threw a shindig fit for the town by hosting a lively cocktail party at the freshly minted West Elm House, featuring a live jazz band and succulent hors d’oeuvres.

Orange County agents and staff gathered at a popular Laguna Niguel Italian restaurant to break bread and toast to another successful year. The night featured exquisite Italian cuisine and a hearty amount of laughter and fun. In San Diego, all offices converged in a swanky downtown mid-rise for a hosted cocktail party, featuring a full spread of ham and sides to go with live music and festive fun. It was the perfect setting to unwind and for agents and staff to spend some quality time away from the office.

“We enjoy taking extra time around the holidays to gather as a family and enjoy a nice meal and each other’s company,” says Bob Deville, Co-Founder of Bennion Deville Homes. “Our offices work hard throughout the year and build a camaraderie, which is further strengthened by relaxing and socializing together. From agents to staff, that bonding is critical to establishing the types of relationships that drive success. We wish everyone a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season and look forward to celebrating even more in 2017.”

Bennion Deville Homes Welcomes Chelsea Clark

December 4, 2016

REALTOR Chelsea Clark joins Bennion Deville Homes Encinitas.
Bennion Deville Homes welcomes REALTOR Chelsea Clark to the Encinitas office.

Bennion Deville Homes welcomes REALTOR® Chelsea Clark to the Encinitas office, located at 258 North El Camino Real, Suite C. Chelsea proudly works throughout San Diego County with buyers, sellers, and military families, helping her clients find the perfect home to enjoy Southern California’s unique lifestyle.

Real estate has been a key component to Chelsea’s life and something that she always aspired to pursue. Her father is a contractor and she has an uncle and cousin that are in the business. Hearing about their respective experiences has only fueled her passion for the industry. “I am always looking at things within any property I walk to see how they were designed and how they might be improved,” Chelsea says. “What I truly love about this business is that I get to help others accomplish their dreams. The more I work, the more they benefit. It is fulfilling to know the dedication I put in to my business generates direct results for my clients.”

Beyond her legacy within the industry, Chelsea cites her passions for design as another favorite aspect of real estate. “I studied photography and design for 10 years, so being able to apply that eye to benefit my clients is huge. I understand how aesthetics shape the opinion of a buyer and can help achieve the right look to maximize appeal.” Chelsea stays up-to-date on the latest design trends and, wherever possible, tries to weave them into a staged home.

With her husband in the armed forces, Chelsea also deeply understands what it is like to live the military lifestyle and passes that knowledge on to others. “As an expert on military life, I know how to get settled in a new city or how to find the best options in another town. I am here to use my experiences to help military families with excellent service and by guiding them through the VA loan and relocation process. Everyone, especially our military, deserves to live the ‘American Dream.’”

A believer in strong communication, Chelsea goes above and beyond for her clients to ensure that they make the best decision possible. “I have done everything from video conference calls with clients to producing guided video tours for families moving from across the country. It takes a little extra time to thoroughly explore the home to make sure that my clients will be nothing short of satisfied, but it is all worth it in the end.” Her extra care with details and educational approach to working with clients builds a bond and trust that is unique to her brand of service.

Chelsea made the switch to Bennion Deville Homes because the brokerage “is invested in its agents and wants us to succeed. I have already grown strong friendships at Bennion Deville Homes and everyone roots each other on. Plus, the educational opportunities and programs are enticing,” Chelsea concludes.

Adds Managing Broker Chris Moore, “Chelsea’s can-do attitude and personal approach to building client relationships sets her apart. We are excited to welcome Chelsea to our Encinitas office family and wish her the best of luck moving forward.”

Recently, Bennion Deville Homes agents and staff from across the Coachella Valley helped the Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS (PSRAR) raise money for critical organizations in the local community at the Harvest Auction event. The Harvest Auction, held each year the day before Thanksgiving, gives all proceeds to the Desert Escrow Scholarship fund, Sanctuary House, and the Boys & Girls Club valley wide. This year Harvest Auction raised over $11,000 based on an auction-style system, with everything from pies to festive displays up for sale to the highest bidder.

Bennion Deville Homes Managing Brokers Denise Anderson and David Cantwell have a time-honored tradition of making David’s late mom’s famed pecan and cranberry pie recipe every year. Denise and David invited fellow Bennion Deville Managing Broker Tish Herwig to join the team as the pastry chef creating beautiful homemade crusts for this year’s batch of baked goodies. The pies the trio cooked up auctioned at $110 each, with one of them being purchased by Palm Springs’ very own Mayor Robert Moon.

Bennion Deville Homes agent Tanner Voskamp from the Palm Springs South office sold a majority of the $200 gift basket raffle tickets, priced at $25 each. Bennion Deville Homes General Manager Chris Anderson was one lucky winner of a super basket, valued at over $400 in goodies. Bennion Deville agent Nancy Stienfeldt from the Palm Springs South office, coordinated and created all of the spectacular baskets donated by Bennion Deville Homes, winning “Most Creative.” The auctioneer for the event was Orange Coast Title’s Darlene Daniello.

“We are proud of the commitment our agents and staff put in to Harvest Auction each year,” adds Bob Deville, Co-Founder of Bennion Deville Homes. “This a fun event benefitting exceptional causes and we look forward to participating each year. Being able to purchase a last-minute dessert item for Thanksgiving is an added bonus.”

Bennion Deville Homes welcomes REALTOR Chris Fisher to the Encinitas office.

Bennion Deville Homes welcomes REALTOR® Chris Fisher to the Encinitas office, located at 258 North El Camino Real, Suite C. Chris earned her real estate license in 2015 and helps buyers and sellers accomplish their real estate goals throughout North San Diego County, specializing in the communities of Encinitas, Carlsbad, and San Marcos.

Growing up in a military family, Chris travelled extensively and enjoyed the adventures each city presented. These childhood experiences engrained a deep appreciation for what “home” truly represents. As a result, Chris has always been fascinated with homes, and loves recognizing the variety of architectural styles and their potential. “Real estate is my passion,” she states. “I always wanted to get into the industry when the time was right. Being able to use my knowledge of our local communities, negotiation skills, and vision for a home’s potential to help others enhance their lifestyle is a dream come true. Sharing that vision and sense of community with my clients is special and something that is very gratifying for me.”

In addition to her love of architecture and an eye for homes, Chris is drawn to the educational opportunities real estate presents daily. “You have to stay on top of the changes in the market in order to provide your clients with the right information to make the best decision possible. Being a source of quality information further strengthens the trust and confidence we establish in our relationship together.”
