Windermere Real Estate Southern California Realtor® Jane Alcumbrac is participating in the six month Leadership Development Academy through the California Desert Association of Realtors® (CDAR). Under the direction of CDAR Chief Executive Officer John Gronewold, the class is designed to cultivate existing talent within CDAR to assume more prominent leadership positions and help its members, which includes Realtors® and affiliated companies, gain valuable experience and skills for application both professionally and personally.
Jane, a member of the Education Committee, was recommended for the leadership program by the current Education Committee Chair and CDAR Board Member Diana Bernardi and invited to be a participant by CDAR President Beverly Fitzgerald. This is the first year the program is being offered by CDAR.
Jane first became involved on the Education Committee because she relied so heavily on learning in her first years of being a real estate professional and CDAR provided that education. Many CDAR members have had a similar experience and inspiration for joining a committee, however, the organization has always had participation on larger boards and committees from the same select group of members. The goal of the program is to foster strong leadership for the future of the Association. By grooming potential leaders for these expanded roles, they are preparing the next wave of industry thinkers and contributors to handle the duties expected of them in these larger roles with the organization.
“We are excited for Jane to be a part of this new program,” says Chris Anderson, Windermere Real Estate Southern California General Manager. “CDAR is offering program participants a valuable and rare learning opportunity. We wish Jane the best of luck with the program and look forward to continuing our enduring relationship with CDAR.”

About Windermere Real Estate Southern California
Founded by Bob Bennion and Bob Deville in 2001, Windermere Real Estate Southern California quickly rose to prominence as the Palm Springs area market leader, consistently listing and selling more homes than any other real estate brokerage. As real estate agents themselves, “The Bobs” know what it takes for agents to successfully satisfy their clients in today’s ever-changing marketplace, providing exceptional services and support to help to make all transactions as smooth as possible. Windermere Southern California proudly serves the communities of Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, Bermuda Dunes, La Quinta, and Indio.
The Premier Properties program showcases and markets some of the Coachella Valley’s finest homes and estates, maximizing each property’s exposure and impact worldwide through exclusive international partnerships. Launched in 2014, the A+D program, or Architecture plus Design, pays tribute to the rich heritage of design, innovative vision, and iconic modern architecture born in the Coachella Valley. A+D embraces homes that have architectural or historical significance, an inherent reflection of the style or period they represent, or are originally created/designed by noted architects and designers, and thus provides a unique platform to give these one-of-a-kind homes the proper presentation they deserve.
Bennion and Deville have created an extensive network of agents, clients, and partners, the largest, top-producing network for real estate available in the Palm Springs market, leveraging the power of an invitation to the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® and acting as the exclusive local affiliate of Luxury Portfolio International®.
