Windermere Real Estate Southern California Broker Associate and Executive Premier Director Patrick Jordan of Patrick-Stewart Properties was recently announced as one of three co-chairs for the 2016 Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards, the largest annual fundraiser put on by the Desert AIDS Project. Patrick will help coordinate and plan the event with announced fellow co-chairs Dr. Suzanne Quardt and Dave Morgan.

“I am honored to serve as a co-chair for the 2016 Steve Chase Humanitarian awards,” says Patrick. “My goal has always been to give back and raise money for causes that I strongly believe in and to make a positive difference in the lives of others in our local community.” Patrick’s nomination and selection as co-chair for the gala was a total surprise to him. “It was completely unexpected. They asked me if I would consider it and, since I have been a member and champion for the cause for a long time, I very quickly said ‘yes.’”

For the next several months, Patrick and his co-chairs will work diligently to ensure that the event, one of the largest galas in the Southern California desert, goes off without a hitch. “We have big shoes to fill, but I know that with the dynamic team we have put together, the event will be a success. My goal is to get the entire community involved in the event. It is critical to the success of the Desert AIDS Project and its root cause that we unite as one to fill up the coffers and continue making great strides in education, treatment, and prevention.”

“We are proud of Patrick’s involvement with the Desert AIDS Project and his recent appointment as co-chair of the organization’s largest and most crucial annual fundraiser, the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards,” says Bob Deville, Co-Owner of Windermere Real Estate Southern California. “The Desert AIDS Project provides a remarkable service for the members of our community to get free HIV testing and enlighten themselves through education and seek help with preventative measures. On behalf of our Windermere family, I would like to congratulate Patrick on his position and wish him and his co-chairs the best of luck in planning this event.”

The Desert AIDS Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to treat, prevent, and educate the general public on HIV and AIDS.
