Windermere Real Estate SoCal fosters a warm, close-knit culture throughout the company, with each office having its own unique personality centered on the agents and staff who make up the branch’s identity. Up and down the Southern California coast, Windermere SoCal offices celebrated the holidays and embraced the spirit of the season, hosting a variety of events and helping spread holiday cheer in the process.
In Orange County, Director of Managing Brokers Sandi Richardson’s Laguna Beach and Laguna Niguel offices held a combined office potluck with a community-oriented spin. In addition to a dish for the potluck, all in attendance brought an unwrapped toy and canned goods. The toys were donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Orange County and the canned goods were provided to the Food Bank of Laguna Beach. Through the efforts of the party, over 60 toys and 130 non-perishable food items were donated. “We were happy to have some office fun and share in the spirit of giving toward these worthy causes,” says Sandi. “I am proud of our offices’ combined collection efforts. It is good to know that we are doing our part to make sure every child has a gift and everyone has access to a warm meal this holiday season.”
In San Diego, Managing Broker Kirk Gregor hosted a holiday party for his Little Italy and Hillcrest/Mission Hills offices. Filled with festive fun, the party included delicious fare, drinks, a white elephant gift exchange, and an ugly sweater contest. The final results of the ugly sweater contest have a social media twist – all pictures of the contestants have been uploaded to the office Facebook page, with the fans deciding who will hold the title of “Ugliest Holiday Sweater.” Visit the Facebook page and post a comment with your vote!
Not to be outdone, Branch Manager Carey Guthrie and the La Mesa Village office held a holiday open house for clients and to welcome the agents who are joining the location from the Allison Avenue La Mesa office. The open house party included an agent and staff supplied potluck, treats, and a variety of contests, including an office holiday decorating contest and a holiday photo contest. The holiday photo contest, where childhood photos of agents and staff were converted to black and white images and hung around the office windows, was a huge success.
Joe Wogoman, Managing Broker of the Carlsbad office, held an office potluck with an ugly sweater theme and contest. Agents and staff were assigned a course to bring based on their last name, and all participants delivered exceptional selections for everyone to enjoy, as well as sweaters that were a feast for the eyes. Although there were many contestants who donned their finest apparel, ultimately Monika Morris was named the winner. For braving the office in an exuberantly festive holiday sweater, she won a Passport Unlimited card.
Throughout the course of the holiday season, all Windermere SoCal offices in San Diego have had boxes collecting toy and canned good donations on behalf of the San Diego Association of Realtors’ (SDAR) Ambassadors Foundation Holiday House Charity Drive. Through their collection efforts, Windermere offices filled over 5 boxes with toys and additional bags of canned goods and clothes for the cause, which benefits several local San Diego organizations.
“We are so lucky to have such high-caliber agents, managers, and staff who want to share in the spirit of the holiday season with one another and the local community,” says Bob Deville, Co-Owner of Windermere Real Estate SoCal. “Bob Bennion and I would like to wish all of our Windermere family happy holidays and good fortune in the New Year.”Next Post Previous Post
