Windermere Real Estate Southern California is pleased to welcome two seasoned real estate agents to its offices. Kevin Macey joins the growing family of real estate professionals at Windermere’s Palm Springs Main office located in the former showroom of iconic Palm Springs designer Arthur Elrod at 850 N. Palm Canyon Drive in the Uptown Design District. Paul Vanderploeg joins the Scott + Jim Homes team out of Windermere’s Rancho Mirage office located at 71691 Highway 111.
“We are always pleased and humbled when seasoned professionals, like Kevin and Paul, choose to join our offices,” said Bob Deville. “We look forward to providing them with the support and services that will enable them to continue to grow their business and provide their clients with the exceptional service for which they and Windermere are known.”
A resident of Palm Springs for over 16 years, Kevin Macey was originally attracted to the desert for its enviable weather, beautiful landscapes and as an international center of Mid-Century architecture. Kevin served as the Chief Financial Officer and Designer for LDC Design Studio, a successful interior design business and custom furniture collection. The prominent design firm immediately began working with highly recognizable clients and properties such as Koffi, The Biltmore, the Frank Sinatra Twin Palms Estate and the Kaufman House. Through the years, the firm remodeled many desert homes from small condos to expansive country club estates.
In 2007, Kevin became a Realtor®, expanding the services he is able to offer his clients. Kevin’s knowledge of the Palm Springs housing market, his eye for design and remodeling expertise has made him a successful agent who is able to help match the right property to the right client. A strong proponent for the community he serves, Kevin has been an active supporter of the Palm Springs Art Museum, the Palm Springs Preservation Society and the Sierra Club.
Paul Vanderploeg has always been passionate about real estate. Before the 90s boom in Miami Beach real estate, Paul invested in condos with great success. When he moved to Palm Springs in 2006, Paul got his start in the local real estate markets rehabbing Mid-Century Alexander homes, working with such noted local builders as Contempo Homes. From his success in Mid-Century remodels, Paul was propelled to utilize his knack for finding under-market-value deals to helping other real estate investors do the same.
As the newest member of the Scott + Jim Homes team, Paul is excited to further his successful sales record in finding the perfect investments for his buyers from Palm Springs to La Quinta. As a Buyer’s Advocate, Paul is eager to continue to expand his work with interested real estate investors looking for the right property. His clients have given Paul top marks for his market knowledge and willingness to go that extra mile.Next Post Previous Post
